In short: We respect your privacy. We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver our products, we never sell your personal information, and we give you control over your data. Many of our apps work entirely on-device with no data collection at all.
Who We Are
Sunbird Technologies LLC ("Sunbird Technologies," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent software company based in Virginia. We build and publish iOS applications distributed through the Apple App Store.
Scope
This privacy policy applies to all applications published by Sunbird Technologies LLC on the Apple App Store, as well as our website at sunbird-tech.com. Individual apps may have additional privacy details described on their respective App Store listings or within the app itself.
Data We Collect
Our approach to data collection varies by app, and we always aim to collect the minimum amount of data required to provide the service:
- Apps with on-device processing: Some of our apps perform all processing locally on your device. These apps do not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers. Your content — such as recordings, transcriptions, or notes — stays entirely on your device.
- Apps with cloud features: Some of our apps may include optional cloud-based features (such as sync, backup, or enhanced AI processing). When cloud features are used, we collect only the data necessary to provide that specific feature. We will always clearly disclose what data is involved before you use such features.
- Account information: If an app requires an account, we collect basic registration information such as your email address. We use this only for authentication and essential communication about your account.
How We Use Your Data
When we do collect data, we use it exclusively to:
- Provide and maintain the functionality of our apps
- Improve our products based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering and improving our products.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks. If any of our apps include analytics, we will use privacy-respecting, anonymized analytics only, and will disclose this clearly in the app's App Store privacy label.
Data Storage & Security
For apps with on-device processing, your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's built-in security (such as encryption and biometric authentication).
For apps with cloud features, we use industry-standard security measures — including encryption in transit and at rest — to protect data stored on our servers or those of our service providers.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a standard format
For on-device apps, your data is already under your full control — you can view, export, or delete it directly within the app or by removing the app from your device.
Apple App Store
Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data as described in their own privacy policy. We do not have access to data Apple collects in connection with your download or use of our apps.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. For significant changes, we will provide notice through our apps or website.
